✅ Into the Waves – After a safety briefing, you’ll head out of the harbor, past the lighthouse, and into the massive surf. If waves are under 40 feet, you’ll ride through the breaking surf. If they’re over 40 feet, you’ll sit on the outside, watching surfers drop into giants, staring straight into the barrel of these Sea Monsters.

  • Safety is our number one priority at Nazare Nexus. Our goal is to give you a once in a lifetimes, adrenaline fueled experience in, or close to the waves at Nazare, while ensuring you are safe the entire time. Our drivers are experts, having lived in Nazare their entire lives, and having driven the cinematographers for the 100 Foot Wave Series. They know exactly where to be in the ocean to keep you safe at all times. Our drivers are also excellent communicators and will never take you out past your comfort zone.

  • Our main driver is Antonio Cardoso aka “To”, who was born and raised in Nazare. He has driven hundreds of people into the waves at Nazare, including the 100 Foot Wave Cinematographers and the most famous big wave surfers in the world. He is the best driver around. Any other drivers are highly trained and under the guidance and mentorship of To.

  • The 100 Foot Wave Experience is a full day in Nazare (roughly 9AM-5PM). You will start the day by meeting your trip guide who is a spotter for the Jetski Teams at Nazare. He will take you around the entire town, helping you understand the history of Nazare, introducing you to any active spotters for teams in the water, taking you to the lighthouse to watch the waves and surfers, experience the museum, he will also take you to lunch and then to the Marina where the culminating Jetski experience will occur.

  • No you do not. You can come even if you’ve never surfed before. You will be spending time on a jet ski moving at very high needs, and some level of phsical fitness is helpful. However, our drivers can help assess just how much intensity you can handle. If you feel out of shape or tired, they can take you on a more mellow experience. If you’re super in shape and want the full throttle adrenaline experience, they can help you have that too.
